Product Description

Course Description:

The Level 1 (Club) and Level 2 (Regional) Women's Artistic judging qualification is the first and second  level on the Gymnastics Ireland judging qualification structure. The course is delivered over 2 days along with 1 exam day.

The course will cover the NDP - WAG Levels 1-9 (Both Intermediate & Plus Routines). The NDP Competition Guidelines & Symbol Sheet should be fully researched and studied BEFORE the course commences by all candidates so as to ensure you achieve the maximum benefits from the course. This can be found through the following website link:

The FIG General Table of Faults & Specific Apparatus Deductions should also be reviewed in advance of taking the course.  It would be beneficial to do practical judging practice before you attend the course. If you have never done a judging course previously, try to work with other judges in your club prior to attending the course.

  • Must be a current member of Gymnastics Ireland

All Judges will be examined on Symbols & Execution Deductions.

  • The pass mark for the Level 1 (Club) award is 60% on Symbols, 70% on Execution & 70% on Theory
